BLACKMORE'S NIGHT: Lakewood, New Jersey Concert Footage To Air This Month
November 12, 2007BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's October 30, 2007 concert at The Strand Theater in Lakewood, New Jersey was filmed by Cablevision for broadcast later this month. The program was produced by William MacKanic and is set to air as part of Cablevision's Local Programming, New Jersey Systems and IO Digital On Demand in the New York Metro Area beginning Monday, November 19. Each episode will be televised for two weeks at 7 p.m.

BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's "Paris Moon" (SPV) DVD/CD recently entered the Swedish DVD chart at position No. 10.
"Paris Moon" is a long-form concert DVD/CD shot September 20, 2006 at Paris, France's famed Olympia. An EPK (Electronic Press Kit) for the release can be viewed at this location.

Its debut album, "Shadow of the Moon", stayed on the German chart for 17 weeks and went gold in Japan. The band toured churches, opera houses, theatres and castles all over the world.
1999's "Under a Violet Moon" entered high in the European and Japanese charts, and was voted "Best Vocal Album Of The Year" in the USA by National Public Radio. 2001's "Fires at Midnight" went to #9 in Germany and #20 in Japan. "Past Times with Good Company" (2002),the first live album, and "Ghost of a Rose" (2003),preceded "Beyond the Sunset - The Romantic Collection" (2004),a retrospective of beautiful ballads from the early years, again voted "Best Vocal Album Of The Year" in the USA by NPR. "Castles and Dreams", the first DVD, aired on PBS throughout the USA in 2006 and 2007. In 2006, "The Village Lanterne" brought the band back into the Top 20 album charts worldwide.
